A rear bumper and seven tailgates were stolen this week from Ford F-250 series pick-up trucks at State College Ford, on West College Avenue, Ferguson Township police reported.
The value of the stolen items, taken between 6 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, is more than $24,000, according to a news release.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the township police at (800) 479-0050. Anonymous tipsters may call Centre County Crimestoppers at (877) 99-CRIME or send e-mail to tip@centrecountycrimestoppers.org. Crimestoppers pays rewards of as much as $1,000 for information leading to arrests.
