The Chainsmokers Bringing ‘World War Joy’ Tour to Bryce Jordan Center

The Chainsmokers will make their return to Penn State after headlining the Nittany Block Party in 2015, stopping at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sept. 29 as part of  their “World War Joy” tour.

They will be joined by special guests 5 Seconds of Summer and Lennon Stella.

Tickets start at $29.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at ticketmaster.com800-745-3000 and at all Bryce Jordan Center ticket outlets. A Penn State student pre-sale with discounted tickets will take place Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. online through Account Manager and noon to 2 p.m. in person at the HUB-Robeson Center.

The group released a new song, “Who Do You Love,” featuring 5 Seconds of Summer last Thursday.

The hit-making duo is best known for its songs “Roses,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” “Something Just Like This,” and its 2016 anthem “Closer,” which was a staple at Beaver Stadium two seasons ago. Over the course of this past year, the group released its sophomore album “Sick Boy.”
