Penn State Men’s Soccer will be hosting its third annual Mack Brady Day in this Sunday’s game against Indiana.

Mack Brady was only eight years old when passing away from a rare blood infection on December 31, 2012, just 16 days short of his ninth birthday. Brady was an avid Nittany Lion Soccer fan and dreamt of playing for Penn State and to be the US Men’s National team goalkeeper.

The Mack Brady Fund had been established to honor Brady and to help build a tradition of Goalkeeper U at Penn State.

Fans coming to the game can purchase their 2015 Mack Brady t-shirts with all proceeds going to the Mack Brady Fund.  Children attending the game are going to be able to try on a jersey at the main entrance of Jeffrey Field and have their photo taken.

Fans can also guess during which minute the first goal of the game will be scored, and if they are the closest they can win an autographed game ball from the team.

If you would still like to support the fund Memorial gifts may be made online at http://givenow.psu.edu/MackBrady or by sending a check payable to Penn State with “In Memory of Mack Brady” in the memo line to: Penn State University, One Old Main, University Park, PA 16802

Indiana is ranked tenth in the country, however, Penn State defeated them in the 2014 season in Bloomington, in an exciting 1-0 match. Tailgating begins at 10 a.m. near Little Jeffrey followed by the game set to begin at 1 p.m.
