After 30 years, it was a little hard for Track N’ Trail owner Steve Williams to say goodbye to his College Avenue store and showroom. But, even though the Houserville resident now has a longer commute to his new store on Old Route 322 and Decker Valley Road, he is excited to have a new, modern space where the dealership can stock more vehicles and help more customers.
“We are excited to have more space and a newer building,’ said Williams about the facility, which features a bigger showroom and larger parking lot. ‘It should be good for our customers.”
The dealership sells and services Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha vehicles for both off- and on-road uses.
Williams said he was not necessarily looking to move, but the landowner of the College Avenue location sold the property, and Track N’ Trail lost its lease. No plans have been submitted for that property at this point, and Williams said he is unsure of the plans, as well. Next door, the Battery Outlet also is in the process of moving to new location on the Benner Pike.
Williams is excited to serve a new market on Route 322, with different traffic coming from the east. He said that since there are no other dealerships that direction until the Harrisburg area, the move should open up a whole new clientele.
