There’s nothing like fall in State College. Whether you’re enjoying a crisp Friday evening before a home football game or picking pumpkins at a nearby farm, there are plenty of ways to enjoy Penn State’s favorite season of the year.
Thanks to Tussey Mountain’s OktoberFest, you’ll have a way to celebrate fall — with beer, food, and music. The annual event will be held at the Tussey Mountain Amphitheater on Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
OktoberFest will feature live performances from the Bavarian Stompers and John Stevens’ Doubleshot. There will be plenty of local food from places like Herwig’s Austrian Bistro, Rosie’s Perogies, and Dan Rallis Catering along with 10 varieties of beer on tap. Games like the keg toss and the stein relay are free to play with paid admission.
Tickets for the festival are on sale now. Pre-sale tickets cost $5 and admission at the gate will cost $10. Tickets for children age 12 or under are free. The first 100 ticket purchasers will receive a free glass of beer.
