Bellefonte baseball’s state championship game against Susquehanna Township has been postponed until Friday.
The PIAA postponed two games scheduled for Thursday at Penn State’s Medlar Field at Lubrano Park due to anticipated inclement weather. Bellefonte and Susquehanna Township will play for the Class AAA title at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Class A championship game between Meyersdale and Vincentian Academy has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday.
Bellefonte, the District 6 champion, will be making its first state championship game appearance in Red Raider baseball history. The Raiders defeated Hamburg on a walk-off double in the semifinal on Monday.
