The floor of THON is the equivalent of a hyped-up carnival full of college kids.

Yet fun can never be void of rules, so here are a few you should know about when traveling the floor at THON.

First, get used to the fact that you’re going to bump into people every which way you move. Around 700 dancers, all with their own moralers, makes the number well over 1,000. Add OPP and security teams, families and floor pass members, and you can bet the floor gets crowded.

Second, watch above because there are colorful balls of various sizes being thrown around at all times. One activity that keeps dancers lively is having random beach balls bouncing around, which can be painful if you are hit in the face.

Third, watch below because Four Diamond children are running everywhere. Many families are at THON all day and the children are being cuddled and played with at all times.
