Today’s Viral Video comes from surveillance cameras that recorded a very close call in San Rafael, Calif. Here’s what happened: Two people are walking down a street while training a seeing eye dog. An elderly woman loses control of her car, and flies down a sidewalk, going backwards. The dog reacts to the sound, alerting the trainers who just barely get out of the way in time. It’s really a scary scene.
No one was hurt, not even the 93-year-old woman behind the wheel of that car. News reports suggest the woman may have put the car into reverse by mistake. That is one lucky dog and one amazing piece of tape. So far it’s been viewed more than 150,000 times.
