Some old timers may remember that Billy Joel used to be a regular visitor to Happy Valley. Before his career took off, Joel was something of a regional act and played some concerts at Rec Hall on the Penn State campus. In this video, a Vanderbilt University student asks Joel if he can play along with the famed musician. Check out what happens.

The video, which has been viewed more than one million times, was filmed during “An Evening of Questions and Answers and a Little Bit of Music” at Vanderbilt.
