Penn State had yet to find the end zone midway through the second quarter against Ohio State, and facing third and 5 from their own 7, it didn’t seem likely they’d be getting there soon.
Then KJ Hamler turned on the jets.
Trace McSorley hit the speedy redshirt freshman wideout on a slant and Hamler was gone, outrunning the Buckeyes for a 93-yard score.

The touchdown — Penn State’s second play of 90+ yards this season –put the Nittany Lions ahead 13-0 with 5:59 left in the third.
The Buckeyes would trim the lead before halftime though. After a Penn State fumble, the Ohio State quickly converted. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins found J.K. Dobbins on a screen and Dobbins ran it in from 26 yards out.
At halftime, Penn State led 13-7.
