Work to repair a “significant” water leak may impact some Benner Pike businesses Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, according to the College Township Water Authority.
The authority discovered the leak within its system in the 300 block of the Benner Pike. While it doesn’t pose an immediate threat to adjacent properties, it will require an emergency water shutoff and repairs starting at 9 p.m. Wednesday. Water service is expected to be restored by 7 a.m. on Thursday, according to a news release.
The shut-off may impact the operations of:
• Barnes and Noble, 365 Benner Pike
• Benner Pike Shops, 311-337 Benner Pike
• Goodwill, 387 Benner Pike
• Penn State Health Medical Offices, 303 Benner Pike
• Rey Azteca, 487 Benner Pike
• Sam’s Club, 381 Benner Pike
• Taco Bell, 397 Benner Pike
• Walmart, 373 Benner Pike
The water authority will be contacting each of the businesses to notify them of the shutoff.
