The State Theatre presents Best of Baroque: The Sounds of London of the 1740s, performed by the Junior Baroque Music Festival at 3 p.m. The concert promises to be a spectacular production of son e lumière fitting to Handel and Pergolesi, the opera masters of the 18th century. Admission is $10.

The State College Municipal Band presents its annual Spring Concert. Repertoire ranges from pop to standard band classics, including overtures, transcriptions and marches. Admission is free. Concert begins at 3 p.m. in the State College High School South Auditorium.

Family Fun

Hippity Hop, Easter is right around the corner. Round up the family and visit the Easter Bunny at the Nittany Lion Mall! Visits are from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Give your kids the adrenaline rush they crave. Experience the ultimate laser tag experience at What-A-Blast Laser Tag! Voted one of the best amusement places in State College, What-A-Blast is open from 9 a.m. to midnight.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Bring the family to Shaver’s Creek for its annual Maple Harvest Festival and Pancake Buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The festival celebrates the first harvest of the New Year! And who doesn’t love pancakes?

Want to laugh until your stomach hurts? Check out Hot Tub Time Machine starring John Cusack. Four hopeless friends get a chance to change their pasts. After a night of heavy drinking, they stumble upon a time traveling hot tub and revisit 1986 to rewrite their personal histories.

Treat the kids to How to Train Your Dragon 3D, an animated Dreamworks story. Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, this action comedy tells the story of a young boy who finds himself the owner of a dragon.
