Penn State football’s 2026 recruiting class got a major addition on Monday night with a commitment from four-star wide receiver Davion Brown, who announced his pledge on social media.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound prospect out of Trinity Episcopal School in Richmond, Virginia, is rated the No. 6 player in his home state, No. 29 wide receiver in the nation and a top-200 overall recruit for 2026 signing class, according to the 247Sports composite ranking.

Brown chose Penn State over Georgia, Virginia Tech and Duke, among others.

He earned All-Metro honors from the Richmond Times-Dispatch after his junior season in 2024, when he caught 42 passes for 946 yards and 10 touchdowns in eight games.

Brown is the third wide receiver to commit to Penn State’s current recruiting class, joining three-star prospects Lavar Keys and Jahsiear Rogers.

Penn State’s 2026 signing class now has 17 commitments and is rated No 4 in the nation in the 247Sports Composite.
