Penn State is slated for an afternoon kickoff in California.
On Monday, the Big Ten announced kickoff times for Week 6 matchups, including the Nittany Lions’ game at UCLA’s iconic Rose Bowl Stadium, which will begin at 3:30 p.m. eastern time and 12:30 p.m. local time on Oct. 4. The game will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount Plus, with announcers Gary Danielson and Brad Nessler and sideline reporter Jenny Dell, the same crew that covered Penn State’s Week 1 win against Nevada.
The Bruins stumbled to an 0-3 record to begin the year and are the only power conference team to remain winless, which resulted in the firing of head coach DeShaun Foster. UCLA will search for its first victory of the season against Northwestern on Saturday while the Nittany Lions host Oregon for the White Out.
It will mark Penn State’s first and longest road trip of the season, returning the favor after the Bruins visited Happy Valley last year in a 27-11 loss. It’ll mark the eighth all-time meeting between the two squads and second as conference foes, and it will be the Nittany Lions’ second in-conference West Coast trip ever after visiting USC in a 33-30 win last season.
