Penn State’s Beaver Stadium is ranked the second–toughest place to play in the upcoming College Football 26 video game, developer EA Sports revealed this week.

In the initial release of last year’s College Football 25, the Nittany Lions’ home stadium was ranked No. 6 behind Ohio State, along with four SEC schools. This year, Beaver Stadium surpasses No. 3 Ohio Stadium, No. 4 Sanford Stadium, No. 5 Bryant-Denny Stadium, and last year’s No. 1 Kyle Field, which is now No. 11.

Penn State falls behind LSU’s Tiger Stadium, ranked No. 3 in the initial release last year, leading several Big Ten schools.

The Nittany Lions’ 2025 schedule in the new game will include road trips to top-ranked football schools, including Ohio State, Iowa and Michigan State.

EA Sports’ newest edition of College Football will be released on PlayStation 5 and XBox Series X/s on Thursday, July 10, ahead of Penn State’s real-life home-opener on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 3:30 p.m. against Nevada.
