Penn State football on Saturday picked up its 24th commitment for the 2026 recruiting class with a pledge from three-star New Jersey offensive tackle Marlen Bright, as first reported by Steve Wiltfong of Rivals.

A 6-foot-6, 270-pound prospect from DePaul Catholic in Wayne, Bright is rated the No. 47 offensive tackle in the country and No. 8 overall recruit in New Jersey in the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Bright picked the Nittany Lions over Florida State, Illinois, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M and West Virginia.

He is the fourth offensive tackle to commit to Penn State’s this cycle, joining Harrisburg four-star Kevin Brown, fellow three-star Garden State product Roseby Lubintus and three-star Tennessee prospect Jack Fuchs.

The Nittany Lions’ 2026 recruiting class is currently ranked the No. 14 in the nation in the 247 Composite.
