Prior to kicking off the season against Nevada, Penn State released its first availability report, providing a glimpse into the team’s health as the 2025 campaign kicks off.

As expected, wide receivers Kaden Saunders, Peter Gonzalez and Josiah Brown and defensive end Max Granville were listed as out, after James Franklin confirmed their injury status previously.

Defensive end Zuriah Fisher, who was absent at Penn State’s last media viewing session of practice, was also listed as out. He was a projected starter opposite Dani Dennis-Sutton at a position lacking proven commodities. Redshirt freshman Jaylen Harvey and freshmen Chaz Coleman and Yvan Kemajou could see significant time in his absence.

Additionally, defensive ends Mason Robinson and Jordan Mayer, defensive tackle Kaleb Artis were listed as out, further worsening depth along the defensive line, already a cause for concern this season.

Notably, quarterback Bekkem Kritza was listed as out. He was projected as the Nittany Lions’ QB4 entering the season, but any injury at the position is noteworthy.

Offensive linemen Brady O’Hara, Liam Horan and Eagan Boyer and cornerback Donte Nastasi round out the list of unavailable players for Penn State’s season opener.

The only player listed as questionable was cornerback Zion Tracy, who also spent time at punt returner last season.
