A former Penn State defensive back has reportedly found a new NFL home after spending the offseason as a free agent.

Adrian Amos, a safety for the Nittany Lions from 2011 to 2014, has signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston.

Amos began last season with the New York Jets, but was released in December after appearing in 11 games, starting three. He signed with the Houston Texans shortly after his release and played in five games.

The Jaguars are set to become Amos’ fifth team since he was selected by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. After a four-year tenure in Chicago, Amos spent the next four seasons as the Green Bay Packers’ primary strong safety.

Amos has tallied a combined 664 tackles, 49 pass deflections and 10 interceptions across his nine-year NFL career.

A native of Baltimore, Amos was a three-year starter with the Nittany Lions, and split time between safety and cornerback.
