Baseball season is on the horizon.
Penn State on Wednesday afternoon unveiled its full 2026 schedule, including 22 home games at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
The Nittany Lions’ nonconference slate kicks off with the MLB Desert Invitational in Arizona against Air Force, Grand Canyon and Kansas State, followed by a four-game series at Richmond. They’ll also play three games against Indiana State and Texas Tech and two versus St. John’s and Georgetown before kicking off conference play.
The Nittany Lions’ Big Ten opener comes against Iowa, with other series against Purdue, Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio State, Rutgers, Oregon, Minnesota, Washington and Maryland in following weeks. Penn State won’t face Michigan, Michigan State, UCLA, USC, Indiana and Northwestern unless they meet in the Big Ten tournament, played from May 18-24 in Omaha, marking a relatively easy conference slate.
