Penn State’s Sept. 30 game at Northwestern will kick off at noon EDT on the Big Ten Network, the league announced on Monday afternoon. The game will mark the second 11 a.m. local start in three weeks for the Nittany Lions as they come off a late morning kick against Illinois.
This upcoming weekend Penn State is slated to face Iowa at night with a 7:30 start time. That game is scheduled to air on CBS and will mark the fourth broadcast partner in as many weeks to air Penn State’s game. The Nittany Lions’ clash with Northwestern will be the first BTN appearance of the season for the Nittany Lions who are 3-0 on the year as they face the Hawkeyes this Saturday.
Following the Northwestern game, Penn State will host UMass for a 3:30 p.m. kick on Oct. 14, with TV arrangements still to be announced. The only other announced start times for the Nittany Lions’ remaining contests this season are a noon kickoff at home on Nov. 11 against Michigan, airing on Fox, and a 7:30 p.m. clash against Michigan State on Nov. 24 at Ford Field in Detroit. That game is scheduled to air on NBC to close out Penn State’s regular season slate.
