Penn State men’s basketball fans are set for an exciting Sunday evening clash as three former Nittany Lions are slated to face one another as part of NBA Summer League action. In a meeting between the defending NBA Champion Denver Nuggets and Atlanta Hawks, Penn State fans will recognize the trio of Jalen Pickett, Andrew Funk and Seth Lundy on the floor for their respective teams.
Pickett — who recently signed a four-year, $8.3 million deal with the Nuggets after being selected in the second round of the NBA Draft — will play alongside Funk in a Sunday night matchup against former teammate Lundy and the Atlanta Hawks. The game is scheduled to tip at 9:30 p.m. eastern on NBA TV.
Lundy, who was drafted in the second round by Atlanta, signed a two-way deal with the Hawks on Thursday.
The game boasts another Penn State connection, as former Nittany Lion star Calvin Booth is the Nuggets’ general manager.
