Penn State Wrestler Terrell Barraclough Reportedly Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State wrestler Terrell Barraclough has reportedly entered the transfer portal, according to Greg Pickel of Blue White Illustrated.

Barraclough arrived at Penn State in 2019 and redshirted his freshman year. He will depart Happy Valley as a graduate transfer with one remaining year of eligibility.

A native of Utah where he was a four-time high school state champion, Barraclough has wrestled at 157, 165 and 174 pounds, and though he proved a tough competitor, he never held a consistent starting spot on the Penn State roster. He went 2-1 in dual meets last season, knocking off then-13th ranked Jackson Turley of Rutgers and Michigan State’s DJ Shannon at 174 pounds. Including tournament action, he was 12-2 in 2023-24, including a victory by fall over then-No. 9 Caleb Fish of Michigan State at 165 pounds in the Army Black Knight Invite and a 165-pound title at the Edinboro Open.

Barraclough is the first reported Nittany Lion to enter the transfer portal this offseason. The remaining wrestlers have until May 3 to enter the portal if they choose.
