Nosh Kosher Deli, Penn State Dining’s newest addition at the University Park campus, will open its doors for the 2025 fall semester in the North Food District at Warnock Commons.
The modern kosher deli’s menu will offer dining options for Penn State’s Jewish community as well as all faculty, staff, students and guests, according to the director of residential dining Amy Bressel.
“We are excited to open this new dedicated kosher station,” Bressler said in a release. “The menu and atmosphere at Nosh are things we feel our guests will love and will be a welcome addition to Residential Dining.”
The menu will offer familiar kosher cuisine including specialty sandwiches, matzo ball soup, potato latkes and desserts from fresh-baked cookies to chocolate rugelach. Special menus for holidays like Passover will also be offered throughout the year.
A certified mashgiach will oversee the facility to ensure it meets all kosher requirements.
East Food District’s PURE in Findlay Commons will now be a dedicated allergen-friendly station and will continue to serve kosher-friendly meat options, in addition to Nosh.
Nosh will be open for lunch and dinner from Sunday through Thursday, using only mobile ordering through Penn State Eats, which is accessible via the Penn State Go app,.
