Penn State’s annual Homecoming Parade made its return to State College on Friday nights as floats, cars and marchers traveled from East Halls, through campus, down College Avenue and up to the Lion Shrine — filling the streets with laughter, music and school spirit.
Onward State’s photographers stationed along the parade route captured the action.
Fun floats from student clubs, sororities, fraternities, alumni groups and more filled the route, spreading happiness (and plenty of candy) along the way.
And who could forget the CATA buses – always a fan favorite.
With many bright, colorful floats, the parade continued to make its way throughout College Ave.
Finally ending with some musical excitement the Penn State Blue Band.
