Maintenance work is expected to impede access to a few popular photo and gathering spots on Penn State’s University Park campus in July.
The Barbara O. and James R. Korner Tower Terrace, which is located under the water tower between the Stuckeman Family and Theatre buildings, will be closed for two weeks for exterior cleaning beginning Monday, according to a university news release.
Work on lighting improvements for The Pennsylvania State University sign and stone wall at the intersection of East Park Avenue and Porter Road near Beaver Stadium, will begin July 17 and last for one week.
The We Are sculpture, located at the intersection of University Drive and Curtin Road near the Intramural Building, will be fenced off for two weeks beginning July 24 for sidewalk improvements and repointing of the stone foundation.
Project durations are subject to change depending on weather conditions, according to the university.
