Penn State men’s basketball will undergo a full reseating for all season ticket holder locations at the Bryce Jordan Center ahead of the Nittany Lions’ upcoming 2022-23 season.

The process will take place in August and will primarily feature a relocation of the student section to behind the team benches, placing students in the primary viewing area for those watching games on TV.

Previously, the student section had been located across from the benches. Over time the relocation of television cameras resulted in the student section no longer facing the cameras.

According to a press release, everyone who places a seat deposit will receive an appointment window when they will select from any available seats in the arena. Appointment windows will be determined by Nittany Lion Club priority point order.

This is different from a standard renewal year. During a reseat year, a deposit must be placed to be eligible to select seats during the reseat. Deposits can be placed for both existing and new season ticket holders here. The reseat is taking part following a ticket-holder survey conducted by the athletic department.

Important Dates

  • Aug. 9 – Deposits due; deadline to improve NLC Priority Point rank. All donors who make gifts to Penn State Athletics after Aug. 9 will still receive point but they will not count toward their rank for this reseat.
  • Aug. 23 – Seat selection begins.

Next Steps

Existing and new season ticket holders will have until August 9 to place a deposit to be eligible to select seats during the reseat. There will not be a standard 2022-23 season ticket renewal process, as it will instead be replaced by this reseat opportunity. During a reseat year, a deposit must be placed to be eligible to select seats during the reseat.

Deposits can be placed here

During the seat selection process and in appointment windows ranked by Nittany Lion Club priority point order, all existing and new season ticket holders will receive a designated date and time to access a Virtual Venue for the Bryce Jordan Center, browse all available seat locations, and select their new season ticket seat location.
