Wanted: Penn State’s Elite Professors

 Welcome to Faculty Q&A, where each and every week you’ll meet one of the most interesting and impressive professors Penn State has to offer.

Beginning next Tuesday, StateCollege.com will highlight one person from each of Penn State’s 15 colleges. And with so many instructors in so many departments, you can expect to find some impressive resumes on this page.

Perhaps our selection will have made an impact on either the local community or across the globe. Perhaps he or she will have made a big difference to one student. Perhaps you’ll recognize the face; perhaps you’ve never heard of our selection.

No matter what, we could use some help.

Whether you are an instructor, a student or an area resident, you know those who should be selected. They’re your peers, your professors or your neighbors.

Be prepared to explain why the State College community should know more about your nominee. Please include what your nominee teaches and for which college he/she works.

The series begins a week from today, so get your nominations in quickly. Because the series will run until the end of the calendar year, feel free to nominate someone at any time in the next 15 weeks. However, we’re only selecting one from each college, so don’t delay.
