THON 2026 concluded Sunday at the Bryce Jordan Center with final fundraising totals confirmed after every donation was counted and each organization credited.
The record-setting $18.8 million raised within the past year and weekend benefits Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital and its mission of supporting children and families battling pediatric cancer. This year’s top fundraising efforts translate into months and years of direct services for patients and families.
All 16 THON committees’ total fundraising efforts combined to fund 1,114 days of Child Life services that support the emotional well-being of children in treatment and 31 months of genetic testing and counseling for Four Diamonds families. Family Relations led committee fundraising, followed by Public Relations, Entertainment, Supply Logistics and Rules and Regulations.
Among independent dancer couples, Andrew Perillo and Jorge Cuza led with $73,423.24. Dylan Smith and Alex Stewart followed with $64,811.61. Jack Conway and Nick Henry raised $55,888.10. Marina Liddic and Emma Dowd collected $48,345.09. Adam Tanabe and Brendan Gilbert secured $45,583.01.
Commonwealth Campuses also delivered strong totals. Behrend led with $76,680.64, narrowly ahead of Altoona at $75,639.59. Lehigh Valley raised $46,773.19, Harrisburg collected $38,003.10 and Berks secured $37,313.13.
Combined, all 20 Commonwealth Campuses generated the equivalent of 26 months of specialized nutrition counseling and 409 days of financial assistance for prescription copays.
Phi Gamma Nu led the general organizations with $355,117.95. Phi Chi Theta followed at $287,553.46, Alpha Kappa Psi at $240,157.58, club cross country at $144,901.88 and Phi Beta Lambda at $128,084.51.
Their fundraising equates to 62 months of integrative therapies to improve patient comfort and 26 months of coverage for cancer-related medical expenses.
Greek organizations once again topped overall fundraising totals. Zeta Tau Alpha and Alpha Tau Omega led with $551,071.22. Delta Gamma and Delta Upsilon followed at $418,870.21 with Delta Zeta and Pi Kappa Phi raising $370,205.06, Kappa Alpha Theta and Gamma Phi Beta at $364,234.35 and Alpha Omicron Pi and Phi Kappa Psi securing $335,581.10.
Funds raised by Greek organizations equal 23 months of financial support for meals and transportation during treatment and 31 months of innovative research advancing future therapies.
Special interest organizations rounded out the top totals. Atlas led with $300,317.03. Hershey Kisses followed at $141,860.02. FOTO raised $106,526.12. Eclipse secured $89,845.86. Pillar collected $77,182.10.
The organizations’ combined efforts provide 78 months of art therapy and 31 months of psychological counseling for Four Diamonds children and families.
With THON 2026 complete, the final numbers reflect extended care, expanded services and continued progress in the fight against pediatric cancer.
