Elevating Leaders. Elevating The Community.

Participants in our Community Leadership Program immerse themselves in an intensive 10-month exploration of current socio-economic issues that provides the foundation for a lifelong commitment to civic engagement. Through dynamic education and experimental activities, participants gain first-hand insights from discussions with leaders at the forefront of social change. Participants learn from a diversity of opinions, styles, and world views, and develop the capacity to approach and break down complex problems to drive transformative change in effective and collaborative ways. Learning is focused on problem-solving, specific information about the community, and ways to make a contribution essential to the quality of life. We train class members to work collaboratively for the good of the whole community with the goal of increased civic engagement in Centre County.
