CENTRE HALL — Planning to attend the 2025 Grange Fair? Take a closer look at the first week of events. For the final days of the fair schedule, stay tuned for The Centre County Gazette’s edition out on Thursday, Aug. 21.

THURSDAY, AUG. 14 — MOVE-IN DAY

Daily admission and daily parking tickets on sale until Friday, Aug. 15

  • 7 a.m. — Tenter move-in begins
  • 9 a.m. — Centre County Residents Show at the Equine Center
  • 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Enter pre-registered exhibits in Grange Exhibit Buildings
  • 1 p.m. — Overflow camping begins
  • 4 p.m. — Centre County Residents Show Costume Class at the Equine Center
  • 6 p.m. — Opening ceremonies at the Southside Stage
  • 6 to 8 p.m. — Grange Fair 5K pickup and registration at Gate 2
  • 7 p.m. — Junior Rabbit Show at the Judging Arena
  • 8 p.m. — Vehicles must be removed from tenting and camping areas

FRIDAY, AUG. 15 — OPENING DAY

Tram service is available from 1 to 9 p.m.

  • 9 a.m. — Health Walk sponsored by Mount Nittany Health at the Southside Stage
  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Mount Nittany Health Fair at the Southside Stage
  • 11 a.m. — Centre County Residents Mini Jumping Show at the Equine Center
  • 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — Kids Karaoke and Dance with Rick Rock from the Bus at the Rec Building
  • 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. — Celtic Nations Duo at Jubilee Grove
  • 1 p.m. — Centre County Residents Walk/Trot Gaming Show at the Equine Center
  • 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. — Face Painting by Leah at the Rec Building
  • 2 p.m. — Junior Market Poultry Show at the Judging Arena
  • 2:30 and 4 p.m. — Heather Olsen (Pasty Cline Tribute Artist and Country) at Jubilee Grove
  • 3:30 p.m. — 5-Day Bible Club at the Rec Building
  • 4 p.m. — Grange Exhibit Buildings closed for judging and open at 4 p.m. at the Grange Exhibit Buildings
  • 4 p.m. — Chicken Dance at Jubilee Grove
  • 4 p.m. — Meet the animals (beef, goats, sheep, swine, rabbits, dairy) at the Judging Arena
  • 5 p.m. — Centre County Residents Gaming Show at the Equine Center
  • 5 p.m. — Registrations due for RV and Tent decorating contest with the theme “Enchanted Forest” at the RV Office and Headquarters
  • 6 p.m. — Truck Pull (gas and diesel trucks) at the Competition Track
  • 6 p.m. — Line Dancing with Claudine and Fawn at the Rec Building
  • 7:30 p.m. — Junior Market Dairy Beef Show at the Judging Arena
  • 8 p.m. — Darryl Worley at the Grandstand

SATURDAY, AUG. 17 — CELEBRATE THE BEST DAYS OF THE SUMMER

  • 7:30 a.m. — Grange Fair 5K sponsored by Encompass Health at the Grandstand (registration begins at 6:30 a.m.)
  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. —  Open and AQHA Horse Show at the Equine Center
  • 8:30 a.m. — Junior Dairy Show at the Judging Arena
  • 10 a.m. — Celebrity Chef Farm to Table: Featuring Heather McCloskey at the Southside Stage
  • 10 a.m. — Farm Tractor Pull at the Competition Track
  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Free Sight Screenings by Centre County Lions Foresight at the Wellness Court
  • 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. — 4-H Robotics, Legos Demo and Activity Stations at the Rec Building
  • 11 a.m., noon, 1 and 2 p.m. — Mr. C’s Magic and Mystery at Jubilee Grove
  • Noon and 1:30 p.m. — J-Tyme Bluegrass at the Southside Stage
  • 2:30 and 4 p.m. — John White (acoustic classic and trop rock) at Jubilee Grove
  • 3 to 4:30 p.m. — Sheep Fleece to Shawl Demo at the Rec Building
  • 3 and 4:30 p.m. — Hillbilly Diesel (rock from the 80s to 00s) at the Southside Stage

  • 7 p.m. — Animal Dressing Contest sponsored by Bissinger’s Apple Dumplings at the Judging Arena
  • 8 p.m. — Terry Lee Goffee, the Ultimate Tribute to Johnny Cash at the Grandstand

SUNDAY, AUG. 17 — CONCESSIONS AND BUILDINGS OPEN AT NOON

Tram service is available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • 8 a.m. — Cowboys for Christ Worship Service at the Equine Center
  • 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Open and AQHA Horse Show at the Equine Center
  • 9 a.m. — Church Services with Penns Valley Mens Chorus at the Southside Stage
  • 9:45 a.m. — Sunday School Featuring Children’s Puppet Show at the Rec Building
  • 10 a.m. — Garden Tractor Pull (youth pullers and mod/pro stock tractors) at the Competition Track
  • 10 a.m. — Junior Breeding Beef Show at the Judging Arena
  • 11 a.m. — Junior Market Beef Show at the Judging Arena
  • 11 a.m. — Cornhole tournament registration begins at the Southside Stage
  • Noon — Cornhole Tournament sponsored by Snyder’s Concessions at the Southside Stage

  • 10 a.m. — Celebrity Chef Farm to Table: Featuring Jon Forshey from Elk Creek Cafe at the Southside Stage
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Temporary Tattoos by Make-A-Wish at the Playground
  • 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Child Seat Safety Check by Centre County Law Enforcement at the Security Building
  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Kids Day activities at the Rec Building

  • 7 p.m. — Junior Swine Showmanship at the Judging Arena

TUESDAY, AUG. 19 — COLLEGIATE DAY

College student ID will get you half the price of daily admission (parking rates still apply)

  • 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. — Zumba with Matt at the Rec Building
  • 9 a.m. — Youth Talent Show at the Southside Stage
  • 9 a.m. — Horseshoe Pitching Contest (finals) at the Horseshoe Pitch Courts
  • 10:30 a.m. — “All About Kit Winemaking” by Nittany Valley Hardware at the Grange Building 
  • 11 a.m. to noon — Face Painting by Leah at the Rec Building
  • 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. — The Cleary’s (folk, timeless, classic Americana) at the Jubilee Grove
  • 11:30 a.m. — “Making Wine From Fresh Juice” by Seven Mountains Wine Cellars at the Grange Building
  • Noon — Celebrity Chef Farm to Table: Featuring Penny from Juniper Village at the Southside Stage
  • 1 p.m. — Youth Floral Design by a Flower Basket (limited to 25 youth participants, age 8+, one per family) at the Rec Building
  • 1 to 4 p.m. — Visit with Daisy, therapy canine volunteer with Centre County Emergency Management Agency at the Centre County Government Tent
  • 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. — Kick Trax (classics, rock-n-roll) at Jubilee Grove
  • 3 p.m. — Junior Livestock Judging Contest at the Judging Arena
  • 3:30 and 5 p.m. — The Rocket Blasters (classic top 40 rock) at the Southside Stage 
  • 3:30 p.m. — 5-Day Bible Club at the Rec Building 
  • 4 p.m. — Chicken Dance at Jubilee Grove

  • 7 p.m. — Grange Fair Rodeo sponsored by the Centre Boot Company at the Competition Track 
  • 7 p.m. — Supreme Champion Showmanship Contest at the Judging Arena 
  • 8 p.m. — Consumed by Fire at the Grandstand

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 20 — MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY 

Active military and veterans are admitted free with proof of service (parking rates still apply)
