RENOVO — The annual Pennsylvania State Flaming Foliage Festival was held in Renovo from Oct. 10 through Oct. 12. There were numerous events held over the weekend, including a large parade and the annual Miss Flaming Foliage Queen contest which was held on Sunday afternoon at Bucktail Area High School. The queen contest has been held since 1949. Five Centre County high schools were represented: Penns Valley, Mifflinburg, Bellefonte, Bald Eagle and Central Mountain.
