STATE COLLEGE — Adult Children of Aging Parents Centre County, an organization dedicated to supporting adult children who are caregivers for their aging parents, will host a free educational event on the importance of end-of-life conversations on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 5:30 at the Centre Region Active Adult Center in the Nittany Mall.
“Having conversations about end-of-life issues can feel challenging. However, what starts out difficult often becomes incredibly heartwarming and connecting,” a statement from ACAP Centre County shared. “These conversations also create peace of mind for everyone involved and affect end-of-life experiences. Join us to learn more about how to have these important conversations.”
The event will feature Jackie Naginey Hook, a spiritual director, celebrant and end-of-life doula, who will discuss why and how to have end-of-life conversations and how to prepare for the conversations.
