Bellefonte Elementary held a Grand Opening ceremony on Aug. 12 at the new school building that is ready to accept students on the first day of the 2026/27 school year. The Bellefonte Area High School marching band, colorguard, majorettes and cheerleaders were one of many in attendance to open the doors of the new school building. Students return to the classroom on Tuesday, Sept. 1.
