BOALSBURG — Boal City Brewing of Boalsburg recently announced the appointment of Aida Shadeck as Hospitality & Brand Manager.
“We’ve always placed our customers first, and Aida will provide the leadership to enhance the entire guest experience — whether that’s time at the taproom, on our grounds, or interacting with our digital and print content,” said Gordy Kauffman, owner and general manager.
Shadeck joins Boal City Brewing from The State Theatre in State College, where she was employed at marketing and event promotions manager Prior to The State Theatre, Shadeck served as operations and hospitality manager for the Centre Film Festival.
Shadeck is a Penn State alumna with a B.A. in film production from the Bellisario College of Communications and international studies in communications, advertising, and public relations at Napier University.
Among her first major initiatives, Shadeck will play an integral role in the 4th Annual Oktoberfest Trail Race on Oct. 4 — one of the brewery’s signature community events that brings together Boal City Brewing’s commitment to outdoor recreation, local partnership, and exceptional hospitality.
