AmeriServ Bank hires new mortgage originator for Centre County

JOHNSTOWN – AmeriServ Bank announced that Cindy Ginter-Carroll of Bellwood has been hired as a mortgage originator for Centre and Blair Counties and the surrounding areas. She formerly was a mortgage originator for US Bank. Ginter-Carroll is responsible for helping borrowers through the home buying process from prequalification to closing. Her office is located at the AmeriServ Bank on N. Atherton Street in State College, directly in front of the Trader Joe’s Plaza. She is certified in FHA and VA loans and can expertly handle any purchase, refinance or construction home loan.
Penn State FCU announces change in leadership

STATE COLLEGE — Penn State Federal Credit Union Board of Directors recently announced the retirement of its longstanding CEO Cheryl Barr, effective Dec. 31, 2025. Barr was with the credit union since 1990 and served as CEO for the past 11 years.
The Board of Directors also announced the appointment of Rick Tabor as the next CEO, effective Jan. 1.
Tabor has nearly 30 years of experience in the credit union industry and most recently served as the CFO. Before joining Penn State Federal, Tabor was a partner at a regional CPA firm specializing in assurance and consulting services for credit unions, further strengthening his deep industry expertise.
