Central PA Physicians Group expands podiatry services

Centre County Gazette

ALTOONA — Central PA Physicians Group recently announced that the podiatry division of Advanced Regional Center for Orthopedics & Podiatry has joined Central PA Podiatry, a division of Central PA Physicians Group, expanding access to comprehensive foot and ankle care throughout Central Pennsylvania.

As part of the merger, CPPG is proud to welcome doctors Bill Wiedemer, Naitali Miglani, and Matthew Sabol, along with their patients and staff, to the Central PA Physicians Group family.

The expansion brings CPPG’s network to seven locations and allows the practice to continue serving communities previously cared for by AOP’s podiatry division. As part of the transition, CPPG’s Patton office is moving to the former AOP location in Ebensburg, and CPPG is expanding into Huntingdon for the first time.

Most importantly, the transition is designed to provide continuity of care for existing AOP podiatry patients. Patient health records have been transferred to Central PA Podiatry, and patients do not need to take any action to continue their care.

“We are very pleased to welcome Doctors Wiedemer, Miglani and Sabol, their staff, and their patients to Central PA Physicians Group,” said Ziad Khoury, MD, FACC, founder of Central PA Physicians Group. “This merger allows us to expand access to podiatric care while providing patients with the continuity and familiarity that are so important in healthcare. These providers have built strong relationships with their patients and communities, and we’re excited to have them become part of our growing team.”

Current AOP podiatry patients can continue receiving care from the providers they know and trust as part of Central PA Podiatry, a division of Central PA Physicians Group. Patients with questions about the transition, their records, or scheduling an appointment may call 814-201-2309.
