CENTRE COUNTY — Senior guard Naomi Crispin has been chosen as The Centre County Gazette’s Athlete of the Month.
Crispin is the point guard and leader of the SJCA Lady WolfPack who so far this season are 17-2 and are in the Top 3 in the D6-1A playoff rankings.
Crispin, who came into her senior season with 1,461 points after scoring 623 points in her junior year, is approaching 2,000 for her career.
So far in 2026, she has scored 446 points, which brings her total to 1,907 with three games remaining on SJCA’s regular-season schedule.
Crispin also has 54 3-point goals, 127 assists and 80 steals this season, and she is shooting 84% from the foul line.
In her last four games — all wins — she has scored 28 points, 30 points, 24 points and 21 points. The 24 points came in the WolfPack’s 72-44 win over arch-rival Williamsburg.
“Naomi is a hardworking player who deserves all her accolades,” St. Joseph’s head coach Bethany Irwin said. “She earns every one of them because she is putting so many extra hours in to develop her game. I just see her grow as a player every day.”
Crispin is planning to attend and play basketball for West Chester University in the fall.
