The event featured 96 boys aged 12-15 competing in a 54-hole stroke play format over the three days. There was a cut after the first 36 holes.
The boys — all members of the ICL Academy Junior All-Star Series — represented six different countries, 25 states, and had 30 members of the Class of 2029. There were seven Pennsylvania natives in the field.
The overall winner was Riku Takase of Takamatsushi, Japan, who shot a 4-under par 212 on the way to winning his first AJGA tournament. Takase shot a bogey-free front nine in his final round and carded a total of eight birdies. He also had an eagle on the par 5, 17th hole on Wednesday.
“I am very excited to have my first AJGA win,” Takase said. “I really enjoyed the course and had a lot of fun. My putting was the best part of my game this week.”

2026 Osceola Open
It may have been a sweltering hot day in Philipsburg, but the scores in the 2026 Osceola Open certainly didn’t reflect very many problems.
The tournament, played under the four-person shamble format, featured a full course for both a morning 7:30 a.m. tee time and an afternoon time of 1 p.m.
The shamble format has a team choose their best drive and then each player plays his or her own ball from that point. Every player plays his own ball on the par 3 holes. Winners were determined with both individual and team scores.
The overall individual winner was Jared Anderson with a net score of 14-under par 56 over the par 70 course.
Second place went to Johnny Harpster with a 12-under 58, and third place was Haylee Hayward at 11-under 59.
Payton Guelich, Tim Blake, Chris Thompson, Gabi Healy, Chris Sherkel, Mollie Neidrick and Jason Lankin rounded out the top 10.
In the team event, the first place winners were the team of Anderson, Guelich, Harpster and Thompson with a score of 38-under 102.
Second place went to Haylee Hayward, Hayden Hayward, Mike Horton, and Tyler Martin, and the third place team was Tim Blake, Sam Blake, Larry Blake, and Jason Lankin.
