STATE COLLEGE — After closing in late September, Barranquero Café is looking to open under new management and under a new name — Touch of Colombia: Latin American Food and Café.

A sign on the window at 324 E. Calder Way, State College, states the café will be introducing fast Latin cuisine such as empanadas, arepas, build-a-plate, coffee, lattes and cappuccinos. The sign said the café is looking for workers and those interested can apply online at touchofcolombia.com.

The website said the café is reopening under new management with “new food, new drink and a new name.”

The Barranquerro Café opened in the spring of 2016, offering authentic Colombian coffee and food, such as its signature empanadas.
