Centre County Commissioners at its recent meeting proclaimed Oct. 24 as United Nations Day in Centre County, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the United Nations’ establishment. The proclamation also celebrates the ongoing mission to promote peace, human rights, and sustainable global development.
