Pine Grove Mills Farmers Market
Pine Grove Mills Farmers Market will be held from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the St. Paul Lutheran Church parking lot. There will be fresh local food and drinks; local farmers have seasonal fruit and veggies, a large variety of pasture-raised meat, brown eggs, and cheese. Local, small businesses have beer, coffee, bread and baked goods.
Gallery Talk: Structures, Systems and Society
Palmer Museum of Art will host Gallery Talk: Structures, Systems and Society from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Enjoy an interdisciplinary gallery conversation with faculty and staff collaborators from Structures, Systems, and Society: Work at the Interface of Art and Engineering exhibition.
Open Mic
There will be an Open Mic night at the Print Factory in Bellefonte. There will singing, storytelling and poetry. Doors open at 6:30pm for sign in and performances start at 7pm. All talents welcome.

Women’s Health Event
Penn Highlands will host a free Women’s Health Event at 5 p.m. at the facility located at 239 Colonnade Blvd. It will include information about the latest advancements in women’s health; nutritious foods and refreshing beverages; and plenty of giveaways. Those who attend will be entered into a free drawing to win one of many popular name-brand purses.

Wingate Faith Church hosts Community & Veterans Support Services Day
Wingate Faith Church will host “A Community & Veterans Support Services Day” from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the church grounds. This is an outdoor community event to honor local veterans and offer resources to the community. Chiz Rider will be performing on the outdoor stage at 11:00 am along with other local singers. A Quilts of Valor Ceremony honoring 26 local veterans will also be held at 3:30 pm in the church sanctuary.
Latin Festival
The Fifth Annual Happy Valley Latin Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza and the 100 block of Fraser Street in Downtown State College. The festival promises an immersive cultural experience featuring live Latin music performances from regional and visiting artists, interactive art installations, and a curated selection of craft vendors showcasing authentic handmade goods.
Maker Faire Happy Valley
Axemann Brewery and The Rivet at Discovery Space will host the maker Faire Happy Valley from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. It’s where curious minds and makers of all kinds come together to share what they’ve made, how they made it, and inspire a new generation of makers.
Nature Narratives Book Club: “The Big Thirst”
Centre County Library and Historical Museum will host Nature Narratives Book Club from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Led by Pennsylvania Master Naturalist Beth Clark, the club reads and discusses 4 books each year, meeting outside each time.
Greyhound Meet and Greet
Nittany Greyhounds will hold a Meet & Greet event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus, 277 Northland Center, State College. The public can come to meet retired racing greyhounds and learn about greyhounds as pets.
Community Bike Ride
Join Sustainable State College and the State College Borough Bicycle Ambassadors for a 6.7-miles slow-paced, family friendly community bike ride. Participants will gather at the Orchard Park Pavilion by the parking lot at 11 a.m. and the ride will depart at 11:15 a.m. Participants will ride on designated shared-use paths, bike lanes, and bike routes in the Centre Region. All ages and abilities are welcome! Registration for the bike ride is required, and can be completed up until 11 a.m. on the day of the ride.
Pop Up Ave
With their second appearance on the 200-block of Allen Street downtown, Pop Up Ave is set to transform the street with 42 vendors from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Movies Under the Stars
The final movie in the Borough of State College’s “Movies Under the Stars” summer series is Moana 2. It will be shown on Saturday, Sept. 20, at dusk at Sidney Friedman Park. Bring snacks and a comfortable seat and enjoy a free movie with complimentary popcorn in the park.

Nittany Valley Alliance Church
The Nittany Valley Alliance Church is celebrating 150 years of ministry. With roots going back to 1832 in Mingoville, the church has long been a staple in the community. Pastor Ryan Miller has asks members to come and celebrate this occasion.
International Day of Peace prayer vigil
University Baptist & Brethren Church, 411 S. Bowers St., State College, invites congregations and community members to gather in prayerful solidarity at 3 p.m., affirming shared commitment to peace, unity, and a world free from gun violence and all forms of violence. Attendees can create pinwheels with messages of peace as part of the international Pinwheels for Peace project, which will be planted at the church.

The Schlow Centre Region Library will host Deutsch Club in the Downsbrough Community Room from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. This is a free German conversation group where participants speak German in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Happy Valley Town Series: All-ages Run & Bike Races
This is a three-week race event uniting Happy Valley’s community in outdoor adventure. This weeknight series of races on Sept. 24, Oct. 1 and Oct. 8 begins at 5:30 p.m. at Tussey Mountain. It features short-course trail running and biking races for all ages, a vibrant tent expo with local vedors, live music and food. This is designed for juniors to seasoned athletes.
