Gimme Shelter Benefit Concert
With a pay-what-you-wish admission, attendees can expect a night of live music and food to support housing security in Centre County. It will be held at South Hills School of Business & Technology, 480 Waupelani Dr., State College, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event benefits Centre SAFE, Out of the Cold Centre County, Youth Service Bureau, Housing Transitions, State College Community Land Trust. Entertainment for the evening will include The Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus, Biscuit Jam, Eric Ian Farmer, and Jason O. ‘We Insist! 2025’ concert at PSU
Jazz drummer Terri Lyne Carrington will lead a live band in a reimagining of songs from the “free” jazz era and “Max Roach’s Freedom Now Suite.” The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Eisenhower Auditorium. Art & Chocolate Fundraiser
A free Art & Chocolate Fundraiser will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at 3 Dots Downtown in State College. Guests may pre-purchase a Super Sweet ticket (not required) which includes an exclusive box of chocolate and sweet treats crafted by local chefs. Online auction is open until Feb. 7 at noon. Live music by local band Porch Party. All proceeds from the online auction, ticket sales and sponsorships support ClearWater land conservation, watershed restoration and protection, and community-based environmental initiatives. Hearts and Heroes
Join the State College Police Department for a family-friendly valentine event. Kids can make valentines, meet police officers, explore a patrol car, and learn simple safety tips — all while having fun. This event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the State College Municipal Building and is free for all ages.
39th Annual Bellefonte Sportsmen’s Show
39th Annual Bellefonte Sportsmen’s Show and Gun Bash will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lambert Hall, 303 Forge Rd., Bellefonte. Early Bird admission for $10 from 8 to 9 a.m.; General Admission is $5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. An annual vendor event centered around hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Vendors have everything from handmade hunting and fishing supplies, vintage license plates, handmade items to vintage coins, various antique licenses, and much more.
Trivia Night at the Community Cafe at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church
The Community Cafe is holding a Trivia Night from 6:15 to 9 p.m. to benefit The Community Cafe at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 208 W. Foster Ave., State College. The Cafe hosts a free meal every Thursday night to anyone who would like to partake. This fun-filled night includes the game, a magnificent trophy, all you can eat pub food, desserts and soft drinks. There will also be wine and beer served as well for those 21 and older. Under 18 is $10.
SCAR Derby
State College Area Roller Derby will host its annual tradition of The Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., first whistle is at 4 p.m. It will be held at C3 Sports, 200 Ellis Place, State College. Tickets are available at the door, kids 10 and under are free. This event is bring-your-own seating friendly. SCAR is a non-profit league dedicated to strength, community, and the sheer joy of full-contact skating.

Bellefonte Sunday Afternoon Chamber Music Series
Bellefonte Sunday Afternoon Chamber Music Series presents Serenade – A Romantic Afternoon with the Harp, featuring Anne Sullivan, harpist. This concert starts at 2:30 p.m. is free and open to the public at Trinity United Methodist Church, 128 W. Howard St., Bellefonte. Sponsored by the Bellefonte Cultural and Historical Association.
Souper Bowl Luncheon
A free Souper Bowl Luncheon featuring a variety of soups and breads will be held from noon to 4 p.m. at Park Forest Village United Methodist Church, 1833 Park Forest Ave, State College in the prism. This is a casual fellowship time to get to know your neighbors in the area.
Valentines/Midwinter Concert
State College Municipal Band will host its Valentines/Midwinter Concert at 3 p.m. at State College High School in the LGI Auditorium on Westerly Parkway, State College. Chess Night
Join Chess Night at Holt Memorial Library, 17 N. Front St., Philillpsburg. This is for beginners or experienced players. There will be an instructor available to teach and assist anyone who would like to learn how to play. No registration required.
Bellefonte Cash Bingo
Bellefonte Cash Bingo will be held at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 East Bishop St., Bellefonte. Paying out $850 each evening. Doors will open to the public for food and games of chance at 6 p.m. and the first BINGO will begin at 7 p.m. The cost is $20 for 20 games. Walk-ins are welcome. Smoke free facility. Award-winning mystery author Sandra Jackson-Opoku will speak at the Nittany Valley Writers’ Network meeting in the Schlow Library Community Room, 211 S. Allen St., State College. Doors open at 6:00 pm. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by a book signing.
