Mardi Gras Fiesta at Juniper Village
Mardi Gras Fiesta will be held at Juniper Village at Brookline Senior Living, 1930 Cliffside Dr., State College at 3 p.m. The fiesta will feature LIVE music from the La Fiesta trio, freshly baked Fasnacht donuts and King Cake from Gigi’s Delites, and special Mardi Gras themed drinks. Legally Blonde, The Musical
The State College Area High School Thespians present Legally Blonde, The Musical starting tonight through Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $16. The musical is at the Performing Arts Center at State College Area High School, 650 Westerly Parkway, State College.

Poetry Open-Mic
St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 208 W. Foster Ave., State College is hosting an open-mic poetry reading. Bring your own work and share it. This event is open to anyone and everyone. No need to register in advance. Sign up to read beginning at 6:30 p.m., reading starts at 7 p.m. Time will be limited for each poet to read, based on the number attending. Light refreshments will be provided.

Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser
East Penns Valley Library is hosting its annual Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser and Community Gathering from 4-7 pm. The event is dine-in or take out and will be held at Aaronsburg Civic Center at 315 W. Aaron Square. Cost is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 65 and up. Children under 5 are free. Enter from the back entrance and parking lot. Dinner includes salad and desserts.
Toddler Dance Party
Toddlers and their caregivers are invited to dance and sing along to popular kids songs with friends at the Bellefonte Library, 200 N. Allegheny St., Bellefonte on Valentine’s Day from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. No need to register, just drop by.
Art, Taste & the Senses: An Arboretum & Palmer Valentine’s Day
Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the Arboretum at Penn State and the Palmer Museum of Art with a creative and sensory-rich afternoon entirely hosted inside the Palmer, 650 Bigler Rd., University Park. Free drop-in gallery tour at noon to explore art through the five senses. Free make-and-take Valentine crafts will be available from noon to 4 p.m. A paid, sign-up-required, guided chocolate-tasting experience will also take place in the Palmer Event Space at 1 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon of art, flavor, and creativity in a unique Valentine’s celebration. Medieval & Renaissance Love Songs
Musica Antiqua of Central Pennsylvania will hold a concert of Medieval and Renaissance Love Songs from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 1795 West College Ave., State College. Performers include Carol Pharo, Sean Golder, Ian Boswell, Helen Fleischer, Kevin Sims, and more, plus The Musica Antiqua Renaissance Choir. Audience participation is encouraged. Featured instruments include: recorders, violin, cello, harp, oud, and viola da gamba.
Spectacular Snakes
This program seeks to teach children how friendly and helpful snakes are. Students will learn about common snake species of Pennsylvania, including which are venomous and how to respect snakes in the wild. Presented by Discovery by Nature. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Let’s Dance Movement Workshop
The free annual family-friendly event Let’s Dance Movement Workshop for all ages and all abilities will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the Eisenhower Auditorium stage. The workshop is free to attend, but registration is required for the one-hour event. No dance or singing experience is necessary, and loose clothing is encouraged for a full range of movement.
