Robin Hood of Pennsylvania
Robin Hood Pennsylvania will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at South Hills School of Business and Technology, Room 14, 480 Waupelani Dr., State College. The speaker will be Matt Maris. Bellefonte Fish Fry
Bellefonte Friday Night Fish Fry, served by the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will be held at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinners included baked lemon pepper cod or Yuengling beer battered haddock or panko crusted fried shrimp, choice of three sides – french fries, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, cole slaw, applesauce and a homemade dessert. a la carte items including haluski and pierogies with butter and onions. Eat in or take out. Dinners are $15 for adults and $7 for children under 12, cash only. Children under 6 are free.
Fish & Chips
Nittany American Legion Post 245 will be offering drive-through fish meals to go. Each meal will include a battered haddock fillet, fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce, and ketchup. The cost of each meal is $15 or $14 if you pre-order at NittanyPost245.org. Meals may be picked up at the Post 1950, Pine Hall Road, State College between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Central PA 250th Independence Day Parade and other Post 245 Programs.

Lenten fish dinner will be held from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 867 Grays Woods Blvd., Port Matilda. Dinners include baked or fried fish, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, roll, butter, beverage and dessert. Dinners are $16. Dine in at Agape Hall or take out.

Firefighters at Columbia Vol. Fire Co., 140 Curtin St., Osceola Mills is serving fish dinners from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Dinners are $14 and include baked or fried fish, potato, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, dinner roll and homemade dessert. Warriors Mark Franklin Vol. Fire Co., 4571 Fire House Lane, Warriors Mark will host a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinners include baked fish, fried haddock, or fried shrimp with unlimited sides of coleslaw, stewed tomatoes, macaroni and cheese and fries. Pork & Sauerkraut Dinner
Greater Buffalo Run Valley United Methodist Church, 102 Trinity Court, Bellefonte serves a
monthly community dinner. The March 6 dinner is pork and sauerkraut and includes pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, applesauce and dessert. Dinners are $12 and is served from 4 to 6 p.m. Eat in or take out is available. Proceeds from the dinners benefit youth and outreach missions.

Bellefonte Cash Bingo
Cash BINGO at St. John’s Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte will be held starting at 6 p.m., paying out $850 each evening. Nittany Valley Writers Network to meet
The Nittany Valley Writers’ Network will meet on Tuesday, March 10 in the Schlow Library Community Room, 211 S. Allen St., State College. Vicka Kharitonova Pevzner, author of “Beyond the Birch Trees: Short Tales of Growing Up Soviet,” will discuss writing her book, finding a publisher, and how she promoted it. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by a book signing. The event is free and open to the public.
Introduction to Hospice and Palliative Care
ACAP Centre County will present a free educational program from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to help adult children understand the differences between hospice and palliative care and how each supports individuals with serious illnesses. It will be held at Centre Region Active Adult Center, Nittany Mall, Suite 990, 2901 E. College Ave., State College.
