Pleasant Gap Flea Market
Pleasant Gap Flea Market will be held every Thursday through Aug. 20 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting. This season’s set up will include one Sunday each month, on June 14, July 12, and Aug. 9. Vendor set up begins around 6 a.m. no reservations needed. Tussey Mountain Wingfest
This is a competition held from 5 to 9 p.m. decided by the people’s vote — each paid guest through the gate receives one vote ticket which can be used to select a favorite wing vendor of the night. It is also a concert, featuring the best regional bands along with nationally touring tribute and cover bands, playing in State College’s best venue. Thursday night’s band will be Lowjack and My Hero Zero. Voting ends at 9:30 p.m. to be tallied and a winner announced by 9:45 p.m. All seven winning restaurants will compete at the finals to determine the Tussey Mountain Wing King!

Movies Under the Stars
The Borough of State College’s Movies Under the Stars series is back this summer! Grab your blankets or chairs, bring your friends and family, and enjoy unforgettable nights under the open sky. “Wicked” will be shown at dusk in Sidney Friedman Park. Admission is free.
Storytime with the Grange Fair Queen
Listen to farm stories read by Grace Novosel, the 2025 Grange Fair Queen, followed by a craft at the Bellefonte Library, 200 N. Allegheny St., Bellefonte at 10:30 a.m. Best for kids aged 3+. No registration needed.
Downtown State College Farmers Market
The Downtown State College Farmers Market will be held on Locust Lane in State College from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Seasonal vegetables, local honey, or fresh-baked goods are grown or produced right here in Centre County by the people selling it.
Lemont Village Green Summer Concert
Lemont Village Association will host a free summer concert from 7:30 to 9 p.m. featuring Walker Survivor/Christine Shafer. Ice cream cones are available for a donation to Scout Troop 367. Grab your lawn chair or a blanket and help us support the restoration of the Historic Lemont Granary while enjoying the best local tunes in Happy Valley!

Eagle Arbor Fundraiser
Eagle Arbor is hosting a fundraising event at Snow Shoe Park located at E. Sycamore Road, Snow Shoe from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds will benefit Trevor Bulles and Levi Cramer, who are battling brain tumors. It will be a fun-filled day featuring craft and food vendors, snow cones, face painting, temporary tattoos, darts, corn hole, a silent auction, and more.
North Atherton Farmers Market
North Atherton Farmers Market will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Home Depot Parking lot off North Atherton Street in State College. NAFM is a producers-only market which requires that vendors sell only what they produce, grow or make. In addition to the many small farmers that vend their products at the market, the NAFM is also proud to feature local bakeries, specialty food vendors, producers of farm-based products and more.
Woodward Cave Farmers Market
This weekly farmers market showcases local growers, artisans, and bakers from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine at Woodward Cave, 147 Woodward Cave Dr., Woodward.
State College Pride
State College Pride Festival will include a parade at 10 a.m. followed by a festival at noon in Downtown State College.
Garden to Table
Hands-on gardening demonstration afternoon designed for both beginners and long-time plant enthusiasts. Activities for children and adults. Stars, Stripes and Pipes
Organists from the American Guild of Organists’s State College chapter perform a diverse recital of patriotic tunes, spirituals, and concert favorites by American composers at 4:30 p.m. at Faith United Church of Christ, 300 E. College Ave., State College.
Summer Concert
The summer concert series, sponsored by the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association, will be held at 7 p.m. in Talleyrand Park, Bellefonte. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Trinity Methodist Church, corner of West Howard Street and North Spring Street. This week’s concert is vocal trio Lindy Sisters.
Centre Ballroom Dance

On the Lawn Summer Music Series

This well-known local string ensemble brings a mix of bluegrass, old-time, Americana, and contemporary music—along with plenty of humor and high energy. OLV Volleyball Camp for Girls

SCASD Support Staff Job Fair
State College Area School District is looking to fill numerous open positions for the 2026-2027 school year. The district is seeking paraprofessionals, bus drivers, substitute teachers, athletics, food service and CEEL staff, as well as custodians. The Support Staff Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Panorama Village Administrative Center.
Reptile Meet and Greet
Meet three live reptiles and/or amphibians and explore hands–on props like snake skins and frog skeletons in this interactive program that teaches students all about herpetology at the Bellefonte Library at 12:45 p.m. Students are encouraged but never required to interact with these educational ambassadors, with the goal of fostering appreciation and respect for their wild counterparts. Artistic Animals
At this pop art animal studio, young artists will explore the bold style of Pop Art by creating animal portraits with bright colors, graphic shapes, and fun patterns. Students must be ages 6 to 10.
