Galaxy Vacation Bible School
Blast off at Mount Nittany UMC for Galaxy VBS. The event will include stories, games, a community project, snacks, and lots of galactic fun Thusday, June 25 and Friday, June 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mount Nittany UMC, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College.

Pleasant Gap Lioness Annual Yard Sale
Pleasant Gap Lioness Annual yard sale will be held at the pavilion behind the Pleasant Gap Legion, 435 South Main St., Pleasant Gap toda and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Most items aren’t priced; make a fair value donation. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Tussey Mountain Wingfest
Tussey Mountain Wing fest is held from 5 to 9 p.m. at 341 Bear Meadows Rd., Boalsburg.
Each paid guest through the gate receives one vote ticket which can be used to select your favorite wing vendor of the night. It is also a concert, with this week’s entertainment being J.R. Mangan Band, Completely Unchained (Van Halen tribute). Voting ends at 9:30 p.m. with a winner announced by 9:45 p.m. All seven winning restaurants will compete at the finals to determine the Tussey Mountain Wing King.

Outdoor Concert
Summer Outdoor Concerts begin tonight at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard. The monthly series features music from local and regional musicians playing under the pavilion. Tonight, singer/songwriter Mike Weyrauch returns for a second consecutive year playing popular music as well as praise music and has performed in popular area venues such as 814 Cider Works and Shy Bear Brewery. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with food and the fire pit started to roast hot dogs, S’mores, and more. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and food to share if you like and are able. If there is rain, the concert will be moved indoors.
Lemont Village Green Summer Concert
Lemont Village Green Summer Concert will be held at 133 Mt. Nittany Road. Lemont. This week’s concert featuresThe Nittany Valley Wranglers. Concert is held from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Donations collected benefit the next project for granary restoration. The most recent work is finished, with the back exit bridge funding aided by a grant from the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau and Centre Gives donations. If there is light rain, the concert is on, but in cases of thunder and lightning, the concert will be moved to the Granary. Ice cream cones available from Scout Troop 367 starting at 7 p.m. Picnics welcome, bring lawn chairs or blankets.
Downtown State College Farmers Market
The Farmers Market on Locust Lane in State College will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and features seasonal vegetables, local honey, or fresh-baked goods that are grown or produced in Centre County by the people selling it.
Book Sale
The Partnership for Penns Valley Library Services will be holding a huge Book Sale during the Centre Hall Town-wide Yard Sale weekend! Stop by from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Centre Hall Library Lawn. Books, CDs, puzzles, and more. Proceeds help support the Centre Hall Library and literacy services in Penns Valley.
The Cave-In at Woodward
Live music from 6 to 8 p.m. from The Nick Miller Project at Woodward Cave, 147 Woodward Wave Dr., Woodward. Featured food truck this week is Solid Gold Concessions serving barbecue. This is a free music event, rain or shine.

Free Choral Concert to Benefit Community Food Distribution
The public is invited to a free benefit concert of choral music at 4 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 205 South Garner St., State College. The event raises food and funds for the church’s semi-monthly community food distribution.Celestial Sounds, formed from the Lenten Ecumenical Choir, will present the program before traveling onward to sing in Italy. Discovery Day at the Snetsinger Butterfly Garden
Visit the Snetsinger Butterfly Garden in Tudek Park, 400 Herman Drive, State College for Discovery Day, where you can help hunt for breathtaking butterflies, colorful caterpillars, and creepy-crawly critters of all sorts. Drop in between 10 a.m. to 12 noon, when master gardeners will be on hand to guide you as you explore the habitat during this free program. 21st Annual Touch-A-Truck Event
A hands-on adventure where kids can climb aboard, explore, and discover a wide variety of awesome trucks and vehicles up close. North Atherton Farmers Market is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Home Depot parking lot, 2615 Green Tech Drive., State College. It is a producers-only market which requires that vendors sell only what they produce, grow or make.

Summer Concert
The summer concert series, sponsored by the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association, will be held at 7 p.m. in Talleyrand Park, Bellefonte. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Trinity Methodist Church, corner of West Howard Street and North Spring Street. This week’s concert is quartet Western Range.
Ownership Celebration Day at Curtin Village
Join friends and dignitaries in celebration of the Roland Curtin Foundation’s ownership of Curtin Village. This milestone marks a new chapter in preserving the site’s history. The 1 p.m. program will be followed by a reception. A guided tour of the property will begin at 2 p.m. Come for the celebration, stay for the tour or just come for the guided tour on this special day honoring the site and the people who will keep Curtin Village thriving. There is no admission or tour fee; donations are appreciated and directly support preservation and programming at Eagle Iron Works and Curtin Village.

Live After 5
Weekly summer concert series Live After 5 will be held through the end of August, every Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the MLK Plaza, located right in the heart of Downtown State College.
Summer Solstice Celebration
Celebrate the longest days of the year with live music, summer greenery and farm-fresh flavors at the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm, Big Hollow Road, State College from6 to 8 p.m. The celebration is free and open to the public, with the option to purchase food on site. Guests may park in the paved lot next to the farm for the posted hourly rate. If special parking accommodation is needed, email studentfarm@psu.edu ahead of time. A free event bus will be shuttling guests to and from the farm throughout the evening, with pickup and drop off conveniently located at the bus pullout near the Creamery. No pets permitted. Casual tours of the farm will be offered throughout the evening.
