Shelter Fest 2026
Join Out of the Cold for four days of live music, food, and fundraising during ShelterFest 2026. This annual event brings together friends, families, local businesses, and supporters to raise awareness and critical funds for individuals experiencing homelessness in Centre County. The event beings tonight at 814 Cidery from 5 to 8 p.m.; Friday at University Wine Company from 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturday at Boal City Brewing from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday at Axemann Brewery from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Pleasant Gap Flea Market

SCA Community Market
State College Assembly of God Community Market, 2201 University Drive, features fresh, local Amish-grown produce and homemade goods. Tussey Mountain Wingfest
Tussey Mountain Wing fest is held from 5 to 9 p.m. at 341 Bear Meadows Rd., Boalsburg.
Each paid guest through the gate receives one vote ticket which can be used to select your favorite wing vendor of the night. It is also a concert, with this week’s entertainment being The Jaded Lips and Fleetwood Macked. Voting ends at 9:30 p.m. with a winner announced by 9:45 p.m. All seven winning restaurants will compete at the finals to determine the Tussey Mountain Wing King.

Community Yard Sales
Boalsburg will be hosting its annual community yard sales today and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come and find your treasures.
Hobby Horse Derby
Join Jana Marie Foundation from 5 to 8 p.m. for the third annual hobby horse derby at The Alliance Church in State College. It’s your chance to grab life by the reins and have fun while supporting the work of Jana Marie Foundation. This novel event welcomes people of all ages to this Kentucky Derby-inspired event. Entrance Fees are $20 for youth riders age 5 to 17; $25 for adult riders; $45 for team riders (a team of 3 to 5 people age 5 and up); $10 for spectators age 10 and up – age 9 and under are free.
Market Jam
Stop by the Downtown Farmers Market between noon and 2 p.m. and enjoy live music as you peruse the locally produced items at the Farmers Market on Locust Lane in State College. Tonight’s entertainment is from Gwen Stimely.

The Downtown State College Farmers Market is officially in full swing for the 2026 season. Seasonal veggies, local honey, or fresh-baked goods — everything at the market is grown or produced in Centre County by the people selling it. It is held on Locust Lane in State College from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Cave-In at Woodward

Lemont Village Green Summer Concert
Lemont Village Green Summer Concert will be held at 133 Mt. Nittany Road, Lemont. This week’s concert features Porch Party.Concert is held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Donations collected benefit the next project for granary restoration. The most recent work is finished, with the back exit bridge funding aided by a grant from the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau and Centre Gives donations. If there is light rain, the concert is on, but in cases of thunder and lightning, the concert will be moved to the Granary. Ice cream cones available from Scout Troop 367 starting at 7 p.m. Picnics welcome, bring lawn chairs or blankets.
First Friday
Experience the cool vibe of downtown State College during the First Friday event at MLK Plaza from 5 to 8 p.m. A casual atmosphere features art, people-watching, mingling with friends, shopping, and dining. Experience after-hours access to galleries and shops, free bites and beverages, live music, retail and restaurant specials, and more. Free parking in the Pugh, Fraser and Beaver garages with validations from participating merchants.

The NVRC/20th annual Herbie’s Home Town Loop 4 mile run/walk will be held beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Rogers Stadium, 830 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte.

North Atherton Farmers Market is held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Home Depot parking lot, 2615 Green Tech Drive., State College. It is a producers-only market which requires that vendors sell only what they produce, grow or make.

South Hills Music Picnic Series
South Hills School of Business & Technology will host La Fiesta Band starting at 6 p.m. Free admission, free parking. Music starts at 6 p.m. but come early around 5 p.m. to set up your picnic and catch up with friends!
Summer Concert
The summer concert series, sponsored by the Bellefonte Historical and Cultural Association, will be held at 7 p.m. in Talleyrand Park, Bellefonte. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Trinity Methodist Church, corner of West Howard Street and North Spring Street. This week’s concert is Nittany Valley Wranglers.

Centre Region Model Investment Club will meet at South Hills School of Business and Technology, 480 Waupelani Drive, State College, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The club includes individuals who come together for monthly meetings to learn and practice sound investing principles. It meets the second Monday of each month. Meetings are free and open to the public.
Penn State Ag Process Days
Penn State’s Ag Progress Days is the state’s largest outdoor agricultural exposition. With over 400 exhibitors from the United States and Canada, there is something for everyone to enjoy at no cost as parking and admission are free. The show is hosted by Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and showcases educational programs, current research, and the latest innovations in agricultural equipment and technology. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center, 2710 W. Pine Grove Rd., Pennsylvania Furnace.

Nittany Valley Writers’ Network
Nittany Valley Writers’ Network will host an open reading night for all levels of writers at 6 p.m. in Schlow Library’s Community Room, 211 S. Allen St., State College.
