Nittany Antique Machinery Fall Show
Step back in time at the Nittany Antique Machinery Fall Show that begins Sept. 10 and will be held until Sept. 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will be held at Penn Cave, 222 Penns Cave Rd., Centre Hall. Antique tractors and steam engines, flea market, food and live demonstrations.
LION Bash
Living In One Neighborhood (LION) Bash, a community resource fair and block party, will return to downtown State College from 5 to 8 p.m. The free event will be held on the 100-300 blocks of South Allen Street and is for everyone in the community.

Music in the Gardens
Music in the Gardens returns to the H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens in The Arboretum at Penn State, East Park Avenue and Bigler Road, University Park from 6 to 9 p.m. This free outdoor concert features the Penn State Symphonic Wind Ensemble, conducted by Tonya Mitchell-Spradlin, director of Wind Band Studies. Arrive early to enjoy family-friendly activities before the performance. Food trucks will begin serving at 4 p.m. while an instrument petting zoo in the Children’s Garden will give children and families the opportunity to explore and interact with a variety of musical instruments. Guests are welcome to bring chairs and blankets to sit on. All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
“9/11: Reclaiming Ground Zero” Film Screening
The McCourtney Institute for Democracy at Penn State will mark the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11 by showing a documentary that explores what happened when thousands of New Yorkers came together after 9/11 to deliberate the future of Ground Zero. The film explores how structured dialogue and public participation can help communities navigate complex decisions and moments of national significance. The event is at Carnegie Cinema, 113 Carnegie Building, University Park.

Fall Yard and Bake Sale
Boalsburg Fire Hall Ladies Auxiliary Fall Yard and Bake Sale will be held at 113 E. Pine St., Boalsburg from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be 25 tables of items for sale. Kitchen will be open.
Fall Music Festival at Way Fruit Farm

Downtown State College Farmers Market
The Downtown State College Farmers Market is officially in full swing for the 2026 season. Seasonal veggies, local honey, or fresh-baked goods — everything at the market is grown or produced in Centre County by the people selling it. It is held on Locust Lane in State College from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Happy Valley Latin Festival
The Happy Valley Latin Festival returns for its 6th year from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., filling the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza and the 100 block of South Fraser Street in Downtown State College. This year, the festival officially opens Hispanic Heritage Month for the region, with programming running countywide through Oct. 15.
Lemont Village Green Summer Concert
Lemont Village Green Summer Concert will be held at 133 Mt. Nittany Road, Lemont. This week’s concert features Tunesmith.Concert is held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Donations collected benefit the next project for granary restoration. The most recent work is finished, with the back exit bridge funding aided by a grant from the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau and Centre Gives donations. If there is light rain, the concert is on, but in cases of thunder and lightning, the concert will be moved to the Granary. Ice cream cones available from Scout Troop 367. Picnics welcome, bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Fall Feet 5K
The Annual Fall Feet 5K Run/Walk kicks off and finishes at Circleville Park, 200 Little Lion Dr., State College, featuring a scenic course with a few fun, rolling hills. This all-ages event offers something for everyone — and is professionally chip-timed by Falcon Race Timing. Leashed pups are welcome. Top finishers take home prizes. Registration includes a free race t-shirt while supplies last. Every step supports the CRPR Youth Scholarship Program. Voter Education Event
A free, family-friendly non-partisan voter education event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at Entrance A of the Nittany Mall near Rural King. Find out where your taxes go and discover local resources in the Centre Region. Speakers will discuss taxes, regional planning and the role of media in covering political stories. There will be an event passport and trivia table with prizes available for all ages.
Scouting Fun Day
Pack 31 and Troop 31 are hosting a Scouting Fun Day from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lower Holmes-Foster Park for boys and girls ages 5-17 and their parents. Meet scouts, learn about adventure and have S’mores. Stop in at 901 Westerly Parkway, State College.
Kids Bowl Day
A free Kids Bowl Day will be held at Bellefonte Lanes, 2767 Benner Pike, Bellefonte, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children ages 18 and under can enjoy two free games of bowling and free shoe rental. Bellefonte XC Spaghetti Dinner
Bellefonte Cross Country will host a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bellefonte Elks. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Dine in or take-out There will also be a basket raffle. All proceeds benefit the Bellefonte XC trip to the Great American XC Festival in Cary, N.C.
Boalsburg Farmers Market
The Boalsburg Farmers Market is held from 2 to 6 p.m. outdoors in the parking lot of The Pennsylvania Military Museum, 51 Boal Ave., Boalsburg. It is a “producers only” farmers market.
