STATE COLLEGE — State College Alliance Church will host a “FoodPack” Event for Feed My Starving Children on Friday, April 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, April 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. or 12 to 2 p.m.
The event will be held at the church, 1221 W. Whitehall Rd., State College.
Members of the community can help turn hunger into hope for children around the world who are facing hunger, malnutrition, and trouble focusing in school. Volunteers pack shelf-stable, rice-based meals called “MannaPacks” that are distributed across the world.
The 2026 FoodPack event’s total goal is to pack 139,968 meals. To do this, there are 560 volunteer slots. There are 302 slots filled. There is also $41,000 in funding needed, with $18,453 already secured.
