CENTRE COUNTY — The Easterseals of Western and Central Pennsylvania are welcoming two new members to its board of directors, Wendy McCrory Rotz and Carrie Wilburn.

Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania serves 47 counties committed to providing services and programs to both children and adults with disabilities.

McCrory Rotz is bringing more than 40 years of marketing and fundraising to the organization and is currently the senior account executive with Seven Mountains Media in State College. At Seven Mountains Media, McCrory Rotz’s role involves working with clients to create their brand and market share in more than 16 central PA counties.

A Shippensburg graduate, she has led fundraising efforts for the Shippensburg University Foundation, Penn State, Mid Penn Legal Services and the South Carolina Museum Foundation. She’s also served as a consultant with the Scotland School for Veterans Children.

During her time with Penn State, McCrory Rotz led the effort to raise more than $14 million to build the Paterno Library and worked with donors making gifts to the university ranging from $10 to millions.

An avid Penn State Sports fan, McCrory Rotz and her husband live in State College. She also serves as the secretary of the Friends of Penn State Men’s Hockey Club.

Wilburn is a real estate agent and owner of CENTURY 21 Core Partners, bringing more than 20 years of experience as an adviser and advocate to the organization.

In addition to being an owner and real estate agent herself, Wilburn also works with recruiting and training agents.

Wilburn was raised in the Hudson Valley of New York and describes herself as a farm girl at heart. According to Wilburn, she always has found comfort in the simpler things in life, even after leaving New York and traveling as part of enlisting in the United States Air Force.

Wilburn and her family reside in York County where she’s laid down significant roots in the last 20 years being involved in many community activities.

“We are pleased to welcome Carrie and Wendy to Easterseals’ board of directors. Each will bring valuable insight and expertise from the communities they serve,” Jim Bennett, Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania president and CEO, said.

McCrory Rotz and Wilburn will join the 11 other board of directors as part of the organization’s goal to “100% equity, inclusion and access for people with disabilities, families and communities,” the organization said.
